Shadow War

Let me begin by saying a big thank you to everyone who downloaded copy of Shadow War, Generation or Mission Improbable last week. The books reached the low thousands in Amazon rankings, which is an amazing result.

I’d also like to thank my ARC team, who have already begun to leave reviews on Shadow War. Reviews are very hard to come by these days, and I always appreciate every one.

(My ARC team receive pre-publication copies of my books and leave reviews when the book is published. If you’re interested in joining my ARC team for my next series, write to me at jenny@jjgreenauthor.com and include a link to a review you wrote on one of my books.)

Special thanks go to readers who shared my post on my Facebook page. The two prizewinners are Rebecca Paulley and Chris Semple. Congratulations! I’ll be in touch shortly to arrange posting your books to you. Commiserations if you didn’t win a prize, but I’ll hold another competition soon, and meanwhile I have two free books for you from other authors.

Check out Chogan Swan’s alternative history, 1799 Planetfall, and Kaylee Browncoat’s dystopia, The Cinderscars Project.

Symbiont Wars: the hidden battles of the alien invasion of Earth across, generations and the hearts and minds of a thousand worlds.

The year is 1799 (Gregorian calendar) and no one on Earth knows the seeds of the world’s destruction have just fallen from space in this story of an alternate history alien war.

When Tiana, captain of the Freedom Confederacy’s Corvette Valishnu, pursues the enemy’s ship into tunnel space, both ships crash on an uncharted planet.. Now, with the vampiric niiaH loose in a new ecosystem, she must find them and wipe them out before they reproduce or a primitive sentient species will be enslaved and the Tyrant Empire will rise again, this time starting on a planet called Earth.
But, Tiana’s ship and all its technology are at the bottom of the ocean; all her symbiont partners are dead, and she is the Valishnu’s only survivor.

This first of the Symbiont Wars first contact novels tells the story of the first contact alien encounters in 1799 in the stunning beginning of an alternate history war. With a new twist on alien parasite fiction

As a principle character, Tiana is a strong female lead princess that breaks all the rules when she declares war on parasitic tyranny and alien conquest.

Cinderscars never lie.

Josephine Martin has never questioned this simple truth. Since the great plague nearly wiped out humanity, cinderscars have been there to single out the wicked, and protect the chosen from genetic deviants who would plunge the world back into ruin.

So decrees the Miracle of Science.

But when Josephine’s father stands accused of murder, she knows it has to be a mistake. But the only person who believes her is a mysterious boy with arms covered in cinderscars. Pursued by inquisitors, Josephine must uncovered the truth and rescue her father. Though that truth may destroy their very society.

I’m blasting ahead with my writing this week, so I’m going to keep this email brief. The first draft of Trash Beings of the Universe, Unite! is finished. You can read the second part of the story on my blog.

Another piece of news is that, now that my Shadows of the Void serial is complete, I’m starting work on bundling the final three books. I’ll be releasing the omnibus in September and I’m in the process of commissioning an artist to create new covers for all three bundles.

I hope you’ll help me in the cover-creating process.

Happy reading!
