Starbound, prequel to Shadows of the Void

I hit a publishing milestone this week, and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a great big thank you for your support.

A couple of days ago I published Starbound, the prequel to my Shadows of the Void space opera serial and my 20th published book!

If you’ve read the Shadows of the Void books and wondered what happened to Jas Harrington in her college days in Antarctica, Starbound is where you’ll find your answer.

What’s more, I’m giving the book away free to all my subscribers. It’s the complete story, not a preview. You can find the link to download your free copy at the bottom of the description.

I hope you enjoy Starbound. If you do, please don’t forget that I’m always grateful for reviews, even if it’s just a few lines.

That isn’t all. Please see below for some more free books and a competition.

Prequel to the 10-book Shadows of the Void space opera serial.

Humanity has colonized Mars and invented interstellar travel—joining the thousands of alien races that explore the deepest reaches of the galaxy.

Jas Harrington is the sole survivor of colony disaster on Mars. When she travels to Antarctica to train as a deep space security operative, she finds she faces the usual prejudice against colonists. Jas only wants to graduate and find out what life holds for her.

A deep connection with another student and an unexpected return to her home planet make her future uncertain.

As Jas navigates aggressive instructors and the frozen Antarctic wastes, can she find her destiny?

Spring’s nearly arrived in Taiwan, and I’m looking forward to it. We probably only have another couple of years here before we head back to the UK and its slightly colder climate!

I’m going to try to finish off the Shadows of the Void serial before the summer holidays, and I still have to write the final book of the Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer series. Then it’s on to my next scifi adventure.

I have some ideas but they aren’t fully formed yet. I’m planning on asking your opinion on some things. What I can tell you is that I’m feeling inspired by the TV series, The Expanse.

I have so much to be thankful for this week. As well as my publishing milestone, I received a wonderful review from one of my favourite reviewers, The Happy Meerkat.

I hope your week has also been a good one.

Happy reading!
