Hello from Cambridge

Or, rather, not really. If all goes to plan I’m currently in Las Vegas! Thanks to all the great home remedy advice I received from readers for treating my cold I recovered quickly and now I’m all set to catch my flight to the writer’s conference tomorrow.

This week’s bargain book is my very own bundle of the first three books in my Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer series. I rarely reduce my bundle prices, but I’m discounting these books for a short time in case you’re unfamiiar with the series and you would like to know more. On Christmas Eve my reader group subscribers will receive a gift of a collection of Christmas short stories (but they must promise not to read them until Christmas Day).

If you like Doctor Who, you’ll love Carrie Hatchett’s Space Adventures.

Carrie Hatchett’s been a dog walker, ice cream seller and birthdaygram girl—the clean kind. All she wants is a proper job.

But Transgalactic Intercultural Community Crisis Liaison Officer isn’t what she had in mind. And neither is saving the galaxy.

Book One – Mission Improbable

The galaxy is in crisis, and Carrie Hatchett is the last person on Earth who should be fixing it.

Book Two – Passage to Paradise

Carrie Hatchett is back. The Transgalactic Council may never be the same.

Book Three – Transgalactic Antics

Watch out! Carrie Hatchett has a plan.

Publishing News

I must apologise for not including chapter four of the audio recording of Shadows of the Void in this bulletin. The cold I had made my voice too croaky to make the recording, but I’m stepping up production as soon as Final Onslaught is finished and I’ll more than make up for the delay.

The first 50,000 words of Final Onslaught are now with my lovely editor, and all I have to do is complete the final polish of the rest of the book before sending that off too. It always feels like climbing a mountain when I’m writing a book. It’s hard work, but the view from the top is wonderful.

Patreon supporters will receive their copies of Final Onslaught a month before the book goes live on Amazon, but I’m also going to send out copies to winners of my next competition. Check out next week’s bulletin to find out what it’s about.

Enjoy your books!

P.S. Many thanks to everyone who wrote to tell me what they think makes a hero. I read plenty of interesting ideas to inspire me for my next series.
