Long-time shipmates know that every Christmas I write a new Carrie Hatchett story. Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer was my first series, and some readers tell me it’s their favourite. If you know the British sci-fi series Dr Who, you’ll have a good idea of what Carrie’s like, except she’s human and has only one, very big, heart.
In preparation for this year’s story, I’m featuring the current collection. If you haven’t read any of the stories yet, now’s your chance to become familiar with Carrie, her long-suffering sidekick, Dave, her butt-ugly dog and psychotic cat.

I would love to post a nice landscape shot of Cambridgeshire or a cute pic of the ship’s cat, but in truth it’s been work, work, work aboard the starship this week. As well as writing Talman Prime, I’ve been re-editing all my prequels and other shipmates’ freebies, ready to put them all in one, easy-to-read collection.
