How are your Christmas preparations going? With only about one week to go, things are hectic here aboard Starship JJ Green. We have guests coming over tomorrow and I’ve spent all day cleaning our apartment and cooking. The final dish I made was tiramisu, and more wine went in me than the marscapone and cream.

Anyway, I’d like to thank everyone who bought or borrowed a copy of Underworld, the fifth book in my Shadows of the Void serial. I even received one fantastic review from Sarah, an ARC reader, but sadly Amazon has taken it down.

This week, I’ve brought you some scifi and fantasy books to reward yourself with or to give as gifts, and I’d like to invite you to take part in my Christmas competitions. I’m running several contests leading up to the special day, and you can win signed paperbacks, free ebooks, the chance to name a character in a novel, Amazon vouchers and other prizes. Click here to go to my Facebook page, where you can see the first competition.

If you can’t wait for a festive treat, go to this page, where you’ll find a selection of scifi and fantasy books at 99 cents.

You could also grab a copy of The Expanding Universe, a set of 18 scifi stories that’s on sale for a limited time.

Lives submerged in cosmic war… civilizations standing on the brink of destruction…
Technologies that far surpass our own and ethereal beings of untold power…
Immerse yourself in The Expanding Universe.
