It’s been hard to tell fact from science fiction this week, there have been so many mind-boggling announcements. The highlight of the week for your ship’s captain was hearing Elon Musk’s announcement that he plans on sending a rocket to Mars next year. I was a little too young to remember the Moon landings. To be able to watch a rocket from Earth land on Mars will be a moving, mind-boggling experience. I really hope Musk can do it.

Things have been progressing at rocket ship speed here at Starship JJ Green too. I’ve been busy working with cover designers, which is one of my favourite tasks as an indie author, aside from the writing of course. The cover for The Concordia Deception is nearly finished. Please check it out here on Facebook and let me know what you think. I was suggesting to the artist that maybe we could add a spaceship in the little patch of black under the title. Feel free to post science fiction book covers you love. I could look at covers all day, though I’d better not do that. I have too much else to do.

Many thanks to everyone who wrote a review on Star Mage Exile. I’ve added you to my review team to receive a free copy of Daughter of Discord, which I’m looking forward to polishing up next week. Carina Lin encounters a particularly nasty villain, who I’m sure you’ll love to hate!

As always I have some science fiction bargains to tide you over until the next ship’s bulletin. Check George Saouldis’ Girl Gone Nova and the anthology, Beyond the Stars, which includes stories by Nick Webb, Annie Bellet and other famous writers. Both books are available at Amazon, iTunes, Kobo and other retailers for 99 cents.

Handle the Most Difficult Girl in the Galaxy, or Everything Blows Up

When an alien princess arrives, a jaded celebrity handler has to keep her happy. But will he manage to get through her visit, when catering to her spoiled needs is the only way to prevent her from exploding the Earth, when rebels are trying to assassinate her and when he starts to seriously fall in love with her?
