Now that the year is drawing to a close, do you find yourself thinking over everything that’s happened over the last twelve months? I hope your year has been a good one. It’s been a time of fond rememberances for us here in our new home. When we went to live in Taiwan we left some things in storage and last week we finally had them delivered.
It’s a strange feeling to open boxes that you packed eight years ago and pull out the things you thought were important at the time. Mostly I’ve patted myself on the back and thought, Well done, Jen, thanks for packing that for me. This particularly applies to mementoes I’ve kept of my children’s childhood. See the picture below of my son’s first shoes measured against his sixteen-year-old feet.
Another reason this week has also been full of fond memories is because I finally finished the second part of my Space Colony One series (more on that in Publishing News). To celebrate, I’ve made the first book free for you! This is the follow-on to your free starter prequel, Night of Flames.
