It’s times like these that I’m happy to be ensconced with you in our starship crusing the galaxy and not stuck on Earth with its heatwaves and forest fires. There’s a lot to be said for air that’s set at a constant, perfect temperature and filtered for impurities.
Seriously, if you’re suffering somewhere from extreme weather or even only hayfever, you have my sympathies. I don’t know how people coped before air conditioners were invented. Sadly, it looks like this is going to be the future for many areas of the world.
On the bright side, we now have even more of an excuse to stay inside and read books! As promised, now that space fantasy Dark Mage Rises is live on Amazon, I’m dropping the price for a few days for you guys. My cat had a mad escapade during the recording of the podcast, involving lots of miaowing and running around, but I think James managed to edit all of that out! Next week, we’ll be talking about Carthage, my first collaboration with M.D. Cooper.
