It’s sale time! If you haven’t had a chance to read the space colonization books that follow your free prequel, Night of Flames, now’s your chance to get stuck in. Space Colony One tells the stories of Ethan, a generational colonist, and Cariad, a geneticist who spent the journey to the new planet in cryosuspension, as they do whatever it takes to ensure the colony’s survival.
The Concordia Deception was a big hit when it appeared in the Galactic Genesis anthology, but unfortunately that meant it doesn’t have many reviews of its own. If you enjoy this book I would really appreciate it if you would leave a review. Also, if you send me a link to your review I’ll add you to the Review Crew and you’ll receive a free copy of book three, The Scythian Crisis.
Writing The Scythian Crisis is going very well, mostly because I found a quiet writing spot in a Burger King one train stop from my home. The writing is going so well, in fact, that I committed to writing another Building New Canaan book before Christmas. Arghhh! What was I thinking? And I have another Carrie Hatchett Christmas story to write too!
I’d better go. I hope you’ve found plenty of great sci-fi reading material this week.
The Concordia Deception
Sabotage at homecoming
After a hundred and eighty years in deep space, the colony starship Nova Fortuna has reached its destination and long-awaited Arrival Day.
Many have sacrificed everything for this moment. Leaving her life and family on Earth, genetic specialist Cariad has spent the trip in cryonic suspension, while colonist Ethan carries the hopes of six generations of volunteers who knew they would never see their final goal.
A devastating attack on the new settlement forced Cariad and Ethan together, and now they must locate and defeat a deadly foe determined to sabotage humanity’s first deep space colony.
The Concordia Deception is book one in the provocative, compelling space colonization series, Space Colony One.

The Scythian Crisis
Humanity’s first deep space colony.
Humanity’s last hope.
Treachery and sabotage have dogged the early days of the Nova Fortuna colonization project, and worse problems lie in wait.
The data the colonists received about their planet was wrong. No one knows what predatory life forms threaten the colonists. Ethan makes it his job to find out.
At the same time, geneticist Cariad tries to root out any remaining saboteurs while also working to rebuild the colonists’ gene pool.
If Cariad and Ethan don’t succeed in securing the colony’s safety the last surviving flame of humanity will be snuffed out.
