Carthage: Building New Canaan
Are you a fan of cocktails? I have to confess I like a nice magarita occasionally, and then there was that time I drank one too many mojitos, but the less said about that the better.
The reason I ask is because I’m looking for ideas for futuristic cocktail names. (Remember the pangalactic gargleblaster?) I included one called the hot buttered fusion flame in Carthage, my collaboration with M.D. Cooper, and I want to feature a new cocktail in each book in the series. If you can think of a cool cocktail name, post it here on our Facebook group, where you can also see the fantastic cover Michael Cooper has supplied. Alternatively, let me know by email. We have a saying about public buses in the UK, and it’s the observation that you don’t see a bus for hours and then several appear all at once. I feel like that with my books at the moment. After months of no releases, three are going to appear within the next few weeks. I’m not sure how — it’s just turned out that way. I’m looking forward to taking some time off in August and maybe seeing a little more of Taiwan now that the clock is ticking down to our departure.
