However, while I’d love for you to read my new book, I feel duty bound to let you know that this series is quite a bit darker than my previous writing. If you’re here because you enjoyed my clean, light-hearted Carrie Hatchett books, Star Mage Saga might not be the series for you.
I’ve posted some snippets that give you a flavor, but the book does become darker still.
Having said all that, I do hope you enjoy Daughter of Discord. I’ve loved writing about the warm-hearted but troubled main character, Carina Lin, and I’m looking forward to returning to her soon to write the sequel, Dark Mage Rises.

The reason I wanted your opinion was because I was concerned about using the word Fila, which is a brand of sportswear. No one picked up on that but plenty mentioned the font so I’m taking another look at it.
