I realised that in all the pandemic kerfuffle I hadn’t organised a reader competition for ages!

So, how about this one?

Reader competition

For a chance to win an autographed paperback copy of Star Legend book one, The Valiant, sent anywhere in the world, post the name of the first science fiction book you ever read in our Facebook group, or let me know by writing to me at jenny@jjgreenauthor.com.

Good luck!

Your captain has been doing her usual pootling about the place. One benefit of the restrictions has been the amount of wildlife I’ve seen, some for the first time.

Here in the UK we don’t have exciting animals like wolves, bears, or moose, and certainly nothing that could kill you, but I’ve seen muntjac deer, hares, cormorants, great crested grebe, larks, and a whole host of other animals. At the bottom of the bulletin you can see some cygnets we spotted the other day with their mum or dad on the bank of the Cam.

Noa’s Ark

In the year 2432, humans think they are alone in the universe. They’re wrong.

Commander Noa Sato plans a peaceful leave on her home planet Luddeccea … but winds up interrogated and imprisoned for her involvement in the Archangel Project. A project she knows nothing about.

Professor James Sinclair wakes in the snow, not remembering the past twenty four hours, or knowing why he is being pursued. The only thing he knows is that he has to find Commander Sato, a woman he’s never met.

A military officer from the colonies and a civilian from Old Earth, they couldn’t have less in common. But they have to work together to save the lives of millions–and their own.
