If you downloaded a copy of Redeemer, Space Colony One book eight, or you had it on preorder, many thanks! The book went live last week and did well at all the usual retailers.
Which is why I was particularly annoyed at myself for forgetting to lower the price at the ship’s store.
It works out best for both of us to sell my books direct to you. I can offer a cheaper price than anywhere else without losing out. That’s why I devote one ship’s bulletin per month to the store. And downloading books to your ereader is probably easier than you think. You receive an email with a link and clear steps from Bookfunnel.
Find out this week’s coupon code, what’s new at the store, and where the starship recently went below. But first, here’s Redeemer. The price has returned to normal everywhere else but you can still pick up a discounted copy by buying direct.
Battle to save a doomed planet
When the Concordian colonists finally reached Earth after years lost in space they expected a short visit. All they needed was bio-material to reseed their world.
What they hadn’t anticipated was the arrival of the Scythians.
They learn the deadly aliens attacked the planet once before, devastating the burgeoning civilization. Now they’re here to stay.
Earth is weak. Humanity has barely begun to climb back to its previous level of development. The Concordians face a terrible choice: stick around and help in the effort to repel the invasion, or return home and save Concordia.
Each option carries its own risks, but with or without the Concordians’ help, Earth seems doomed.
Redeemer is book eight in the epic space colonization adventure, Space Colony One.

New Store Front
A fair few shipmates have commented that they find the ship’s store hard to navigate. I can take a hint. I’ve redesigned the home page to make things simpler.
What do you think? I’m not a great graphic designer but I think it does the job.
You can get 25% off any books (including Redeemer) for a limited time by using this code: 8V0MCEJP1A. There’s a link to add a coupon code when you click to purchase a book. I’ve circled it in this example.
The starship has been on a marvellous excursion. We went to pick up the cabin boy from university for the Easter break, and on the way incorporated a day tour of the Shropshire Hills, a region of the country your captain had never visited.
What a beautiful place! You can see the ruins of Clun Castle in the pic below. The castle commands a wide view all around, an absolute necessity when it was a site of military defence. Luckily, these days relations with the Welsh are friendlier and the ruins are only a reminder of less peaceful times.
See you next week for more news from the starship and a request for your opinion.
Until then, take care and enjoy your books.
