First, an apology. The button for one of the books in last week’s bulletin stated the book was free, but in fact it was 99c (or 77p as a shipmate pointed out). The mistake was due to your captain’s poor editing skills.
This week’s boxset really is a sci-fi freebie. In preparation for writing Space Colony One book seven, Restitution, I’ve been re-reading and tweaking the series. If you haven’t picked up books 1 – 3 yet now’s your chance, and don’t forget to nab the prequel, Night of Flames, at the store too.

As well as writerly stuff, your captain has been exploring Holme Fen, the largest silver birch woodland in the UK. It’s a remarkable place. Silver birches as far as the eye can see and one of the last remaining areas of Cambridgeshire not drained and converted to agricultural land in the 19th century.
