Our starship’s shuttle landed Taiwan just a few days ago. The crew had a great time in Australia and New Zealand. It’s also good to come home after a holiday too, though, don’t you think?
I posted pics of the highlight of our trip here. Our friends took us on a day trip down to see the Franz Josef Glacier. It was a truly awe-inspiring experience and a fantastic inspiration for my writing. The glacier was immense and the landscape it had created looked like something from a younger Earth. Sadly, the glacier had retreated over three kilometres in recent years. I was thankful that my fourteen-year-old son was able to see it because such sights will be rarer in the future.

I’m already back at work, finishing off the first draft of The Concordia Deception and beginning a new book. This new project something rather special. I was flattered to be asked by M.D. Cooper to write in his fictional universe. The book(s) will cover the colonisation of the New Canaan System, starting with Carthage.
