Woohoo! I’m still on a high from the launch of Interstellar Mission last week. It was an amazing success, and that’s due to you. If you bought or downloaded a copy, thank you! I hope you enjoy the book.

In last week’s bulletin I promised to post a pic from my recent whistle-stop trip up to the Lake District. I’m ashamed to say I’d never visited this beautiful part of the U.K. before, and, boy, was I missing out. I’ve included an image at the bottom of the page. If you’ve never been to the Lake District either, I hope you’ll see what I mean. If you have, lucky you!

Interstellar Mission is still discounted but only for another day or so. If you missed out on last week’s email, there’s still time to snap up a copy here.

The next book in my Space Colony One series, Humanity’s Fight, is going well, and I expect to beat the advertised publication date of 20th October by several weeks. (And I really hope I haven’t jinxed it by writing that.) Don’t forget that Patreon supporters receive the book before it goes live at Amazon. If you shop at another online bookstore, this is your chance to snap up a copy before Humanity’s Fight goes exclusive to Amazon in Kindle Unlimited.

Do you like listening to audio books? With the help of Patreon supporters, I’m going to begin creating audio books from my series. First up for recording is The Galathea Chronicles, books 1 to 3 of Shadows of the Void.

Cutting-edge science. Bloodthirsty aliens. Can this band of nerdy scientists save the multiverse one dimension at a time?

Brilliant physicist Zeke Travers is on the brink of a scientific breakthrough… and a nervous breakdown. So after the beta test of his interdimensional drive goes off without a hitch, he breathes a sigh of relief. But when an alien warship materializes out of nowhere with guns blazing, Zeke and his team must risk using their invention to jump to a parallel universe.

Uncertain how to return to their native continuum, Zeke’s nerd squad must blind-hop across the omniverse from high-tech galaxies to magic-powered medieval planets. Hunted by ridiculously persistent and savage attackers, Zeke fears the pursuers are only puppets of a far more shadowy evil. And with every roll of the interstellar dice, he’s terrified they’re falling deeper into its sinister clutches.

Can Zeke uncover the dark force behind the attacks in time to save his crew and possibly the galaxy?

Kalima, an Earth-colony world with little iron ore and no fossil fuels, is entrenched in a peaceful feudal society. The Jundom of Mamalakah is ruled by the ambitious Hanna Zah-Hill, wife of the Jun First. Deep in debt, she wants technological progress.

But Mistress Li, leader of the Xintou House, prefers to keep the status quo. And has the power to do so.

When Alere Connor – failed xintou-telepath but skilled swordswoman – is sent by Xintou House to act as mistress to Jun First Radan Zah-Hill, she unwittingly triggers a revolution against the House and against the throne. On his deathbed, Radan reveals the existence of a hidden iron deposit. With several factions vying for political domination of the Jundom, control of the iron would tip the balance of power.

Alere is accused of the Jun First’s murder and flees for her life. She must reach and warn the Jun Second, Rafi Koh-Lin, on whose lands the iron ore lies. If she fails, all-out war is inevitable – the first ever war in the seven hundred year history of Kalima.
On the way, Alere will uncover the old and bloody secret of her own existence; the reason for her failure as a xintou-telepath; and unlock and even darker future for herself and her companions.

But only if she survives.
