It’s been full steam ahead this week aboard our starship, or, rather, I should say we’ve been travelling at warp nine, on to our another destination. The next J.J. Green series is well under way and shaping up nicely. If you love space fantasies like Dune and Star Wars, where mythology and far-future technology are blended, and which feature daring heroes and heroines going up against impossible odds, this series is for you.

I’d love to hear your opinion on the new covers and blurbs, so do check your bulletins over the next few weeks if you want to be part of the process.

A shipmate wrote to me today to say how much she’d enjoyed the Star Mage Saga books, so I’m delighted to tell you book six, Flight From Sanctuary, is discounted again, worldwide this time, for anyone who missed the first price drop.

Carina Lin’s story concludes next year, when I’ll also probably remove the books from Kindle Unlimited. If you don’t usually buy books on Amazon, don’t worry, the entire series will appear at all online bookstores then. In the meantime, you could check out Generation, a free series starter that’s available everywhere, including direct.

A strange planet holds a dark secret

Carina Lin and her family of mages are trying to get to Earth aboard the colony ship, the Bathsheba, but they have one small problem: The ship’s out of fuel.

Carina travels to a planet in an unfamiliar region of the galaxy, hoping to exchange one or more of the precious ember gems for enough fuel to fill the starship’s tanks.

A shocking revelation awaits her, which could allow her to abandon her dangerous quest.

But Carina soon finds out that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is, and she must flee the false haven. If she cannot get away, the future of all she holds dear is at risk.

Flight From Sanctuary is book six in the dark, exciting space fantasy, Star Mage Saga.

Kickass sci-fi heroine versus deadly aliens.

Growing up as a Martian on Earth has left Jas Harrington solitary, quick-tempered, and with zero tolerance for fools. All plus points when working as chief security officer aboard prospecting starships.

Jas’ latest berth is aboard the Galathea, which trawls the reaches of the galaxy seeking precious minerals and rare resources. She thinks it’s a routine trip. She’s wrong.

An inspection of a far-flung planet leaves Jas suspicious that there’s more to the place than meets the eye. If only she could convince the captain of the need for caution, but she might as well wish for a tasty meal in the ship’s canteen.

All hell breaks loose, and Jas’ skills are put to the ultimate test. Can she enlist the help of the only two friends she has? She’s in a race against time to prevent the aliens from achieving their goal: Generation.

Publishing News

The cover for the Space Colony One box set is currently in production and, with a sprinkling of luck, I’ll feature the set with a special shipmates’ discount next bulletin.

Audio books of Shadows of the Void are this far away (holds up forefinger and thumb very close together).

Who knew starship captains led such busy lives?

I hope things are calmer and more peaceful wherever you are.
