Do you sleep with a pet? Or rather, has your pet decided he or she is going to sleep with you? The ship’s cat has a special love of sharing sleepy time with your captain, and that’s one of the reasons the Aeon 14 team didn’t record a podcast this week.
You see, the night before I was due to take part in the podcast recording the ship’s cat decided he wanted to sleep on my head. Then the cabin boy decided he needed to get up and wander around at three in the morning, and then someone decided to set off some belated Chinese New Year fireworks, and then we had another earthquake!
Consequently, I was way too tired to stay up late the next night and do the recording, and the rest of the team were sick or busy too and the idea fizzled and died.
