Your captain is on a roll! For the third week running, the ship’s bulletin features free books. But more on that later. How are you doing? We’re still in lockdown here in the UK, but we did have a little snow last week to help lighten the mood. You can see a pic of Magog Down at the bottom of the bulletin.
It probably doesn’t look like much compared to snow in many other areas of the world, but even a little bit brightens the dreariness – though we don’t want too much!
Another item of news is the opening of the Starship JJ Green webstore. It’s still in the early stages, and your opinion is needed! I’d love to know what you think. Please post your comment in our Facebook group or write to me at jenny@jjgreenauthor.com
So, onto this week’s featured book. This time it isn’t two, but seven free books, including one by yours truly, all bundled up into one huge, free boxset. If you’re looking for another author to try without having to sign up to receive their emails, here’s your chance.

Publishing News
Preorders for The Fearless are mounting up. Book two in the space fantasy Star Legend is on track to be ready for release to patrons around the 20th February, about a month before it goes live on Amazon. Taylan Ellis, Major Wright, and the other main characters and villains really do have to be fearless to get what they most desire.
Meanwhile, recording of the audiobooks of the space opera series Shadows of the Void continues apace. Once they’re finished, The Fearless will be ready for recording, and then I’ll move on to hmmm… I’m not sure. That’s a decision for another bulletin.
Enjoy your books, stay sane, safe and happy!
The blurbs on the “shop” pages are good and catchy, but there’s no further description on the page where you buy the books – only a picture and “Buy now”. Perhaps you could tie that page into the Series page somehow? – Also, more space between “Buy now” (which refers to the book above it) and the next cover would make it clearer which book it refers to (since the pictures are nice and big, the overview is limited).
Thanks, Anne. That’s very helpful. I was thinking I need to create individual pages for each book and instead of Buy Now, I should have a Learn More button or something like that.
