Do you sometimes struggle with new media like Youtube? Or are you immediately au fait with all the latest innovations, happily Tikking and Tokking, Instantly Gramming, and Booking Faces all day long?
I have to confess I sometimes struggle, so it’s no surprise that the first news item in this week’s bulletin is that I messed up on Youtube. That’s probably pretty hard to do but I managed it. Instead of uploading the entire audiobook of Shadows of the Void book 7, Trapped, I only uploaded one chapter.
I only realised when I spotted that the Youtube video was only ten minutes long, which even I know is far too short for a book. In case you’ve been listening to the series, here’s the correct version.
Another mistake I made—they’re adding up—is that I forgot to return the ship’s store copy of Star Legend book 2, The Fearless, to full price after last week’s Direct Discount Day. Some lucky shipmates spotted it yesterday and snapped it up. I really don’t mind. In fact, I don’t mind so much, I’m leaving the price at 89 cents for another couple of days.
What’s happening this week? As you may know, in the run-up to the Kickstarter campaign for exclusive hardbacks of the Star Legend series, I’ve been offering proof copies as prizes. (You can see an example at the bottom of the bulletin.)
