Aboard the starship we said a sad goodbye to the cabin boy, though we welcomed him back for Christmas. What a strange turn that book took as Carina Lin faced yet another hiccup on her journey to Earth. I can’t tell you more without giving spoilers, but if you don’t know her story yet you can pick up the free prequel below.

Anyway, as a small treat I thought I would drop the price of one of my complete series, Shadows of the Void, to $2.99 or £2.99 for a couple of days. In these seemingly endless days of doom and gloom, 1054 pages of classic space opera should provide a nice escape.
